Her paintings represent the Tango culture. This dance appeared first at the end of the 19th century in "The popular bars of Buenos Aires" and were refractions of
the lives of the people. In the first decades of the 20th century The Tango became famous in the upper classes, in a form that was less liberal and less erotic.
Today the Argentine Tango is world famous and is considered one of the fundamental aspects of the Argentine culture. For Marta Sanjurjo, The Tango and its history
